The cottage Genuine mid-century character with all the comfort you need. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and — yes — Starlink satellite internet when the kids need a break from the outdoors. Or you do.
The setting Surrounded by Haliburton forest, close enough to Minden and Haliburton village for supplies and a good meal, far enough away to actually hear the silence.
Your dog is welcome. One well-mannered dog is warmly invited. Rebecca Lake has plenty of shoreline to explore.

Rebecca Lake
Rebecca Lake sits in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands, roughly 3 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Ottawa. It's a smaller, quieter lake — no jet skis, no marina crowds — which is precisely the point. The kind of lake that still has herons standing in the shallows at dusk.
Merrymeet Cottage is a family-owned property, rented Saturday to Saturday through the summer season. Inquiries via the contact form are typically answered within 24 hours.
